Flat Stanley finds some sane people in Seattle

Hello,

I was out exploring Seattle a few days before the recent elections and I discovered a large group of people gathered in downtown Seattle.  I thought that I spotted quite a few flat friends so I stopped by to check it out.  As it turns out, it was a rally to restore sanity, and while the people were friendly, they had brought lots of signs which I had mistaken for flat friends.  There were lots of people smiling and being friendly enjoying their signs and listening to music.  It started to rain and I suggested to the folks standing near me that maybe we should go indoors.  They told me that it was just a light drizzle and that people in Seattle just ignore the rain.  They also told me that it may rain quite a bit here so I may want to get a rain jacket.

For now, I sure am glad I am laminated.

  1. Hey Stanley - Maybe you should check out REI - they have a lot of nice outerwear there to get you through the Seattle winter : )

  2. West Lafayette friends,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a nice new coat now so I am warm and dry for now. I may need a hat a mittens for winter here so I can go out in the snow.
